Geoff Hudson: 50 years with the 50s – MEETING POSTPONED
Unfortunately it will no longer be possible to hold this meeting at our usual venue at the Arts Centre. This is due to Stevenage Borough Council needing use of the room all day in connection with a council by-election taking place on Thursday 30 October. This is very disappointing for us and completely out of the hands of the Stevenage Locomotive Society and the Stevenage Arts Guild, who run the venue. Apologies to all, including our speaker Geoff Hudson.
We have looked at the option of holding the meeting at an alternative, suitable venue in Stevenage but this has not proved possible, thus we, regrettably, have had to postpone the meeting and are aiming to rearrange a date for 2026. Holding the meeting on the previous or following Thursday did not prove possible either, as our room was already booked on those dates.
